Here’s what’s on tap this week:

Monday

Practice as usual, this is our last “real” day for practice – try to make it if possible!

Tuesday: Champs Sendoff - Obstacle Course/Foam Party/Mustang Market!

We like to send our swimmers off to Champs in a big way! Since Champs begins on Wednesday this year, we are doing our traditional obstacle course and foam party on Tuesday. Practice times are a little different (foam party by age group to follow all practices):

No 7am Flex Practice

8U + Ponies – 9 AM

9/10 – 9:30 AM

11/12 – 10 AM

Teens – 10:30 AM

Tuesday is also the last Mustang Market with some deep discounts!

Wednesday: No Practice/Ponies Mini-Meet @ Wilshire Farms

There are NO practices at our pool on Wednesday, but our Ponies will have their first meet vs. Wilshire Farms! We encourage all our swimmers to come cheer them on at 10am. Please note this meet is at the Wilshire Farms pool, not ours.

Wednesday: CHAMPS for 11 & Up

11/12 Boys/Girls and 13/14 Girls Arrival: 2:30pm

13/14 Boys and 15-18 Boys/Girls Arrival: 3pm

Meet begins: 4pm

Location: Shawnee Mission Aquatic Center - 17251 W 87th St, Lenexa, KS 66219

Upon arrival, swimmers should report to our crash area in the UPPER DECK bleacher area. Coaches will come grab them for warm-ups.

Thursday: CHAMPS for 10 & Under

8U Arrival: 2:30pm

9/10 Arrival: 3:00pm

Meet begins: 4:00pm

Location: Shawnee Mission Aquatic Center - 17251 W 87th St, Lenexa, KS 66219

Upon arrival, swimmers should report to our crash area in the UPPER DECK bleacher area. Coaches will come grab them for warm-ups.

SUNDAY – ‘A Splash of Orange’ Banquet

6-9pm @ BVSW – walk the “orange” carpet and take pics starting at 6pm. Dinner begins at 6:30 and awards & recognition program to follow. We end the evening with our 2026 season video!

Attire: White with a “splash” of orange

If you would like to order (or see more information) about the Mustang Yearbook for 2025 and/or our Best Times Plaques, please click here.

Yearbooks are nicely bound, hardcover and 50 pages of pure Mustang fun from the season. Plaques are a record of your swimmer's best times from the year. (Many Mustangs have a collection of these from all their years swimming!) Both items come in sometime in August, so that we can include Champs times and pictures from both Champs and the banquet.
